Gregory Tyler Bluecloud, 24, of Kipling appeared in Melville Court yesterday to face two charges of attempted murder, one count of possession for purpose dangerous to public and two counts of agravated assault.

The charges stem from an incident on Saturday, Sept. 20 just before 7:15 p.m. when the RCMP 'F' Division Operational Communications Centre received a complaint of a stabbing at a residence in Kipling, Saskatchewan.

Broadview RCMP responded and the initial investigation revealed that Bluecloud, a 44-year-old female and a 52-year-old male attended a gathering at a residence in Kipling at approximately 1:00 p.m. on September 20. The 52-year-old male left the gathering with the 44-year-old female and they walked to her residence in the 800 block of 1st street in Kipling. Shortly after, Bluecloud entered the residence and an altercation took place between all three adults.

Kipling EMS transported both of the older adults to the Kipling Health Centre with what were described as stab wounds. The male victim was transported by STARS and the woman was transported by EMS to hospital in Regina. Their condition is unknown. Bluecloud was arrested outside a residence in the 300 block of 2nd street in Kipling without incident.

The suspect and victims are known to each other. The investigation continues with Broadview RCMP, RCMP Major Crime Unit South and Yorkton General Investigation and Forensic Identification Sections.
