(Moose Jaw Wakamow NDP MLA Deb Higgins)

Already on the campaign trail. Saskatchewan politicians are gearing up for the 2011 Provincial Election. The Saskatchewan New Democrats are hoping for better results next November.

Moose Jaw-Wakamow MLA Deb Higgins, a veteran member of the New Democratic Party in Saskatchewan is looking forward to the election.

"What we need to do is get out and do our work and talk to people and make sure we are putting forward a plat form that has impact for the people of the province. People are concerned they have seen this Sask Party Government continually run a deficit with the provincial finances. While the Government may see record revenues come into their coppers, many families in Saskatchewan are struggling with the day to day needs. That is a real concern."

Higgins is in Weyburn today to meet with Mayor Debra Button as she tours around the province to meet with the City's Mayors and head their concerns for how the province is being run.
