Weyburn's heatwave is officially over.

Long stretches of consecutive highs in the mid to upper thirties will most likely stay away for the rest of the summer.

However, as Bob Cormer, meteorologist with Environment Canada explains, the forecast for the rest of the summer and fall is looking to remain above average with In September, October and November expected to average above normal.

High's for this week are forecasted to be in the high teens by Wednesday.
