A vehicle parked on King Street in Weyburn was damaged after a hit and run last Thursday.

The vehicle sustained damage to the driver side.

“The owner of a vehicle noticed there's damage to the driver side of their vehicle,” Deputy Police Chief Brent VanDeSype said. “A vehicle likely traveling in the same direction came a little too close side swiped it, knocked off its mirror.”

Unfortunately, the offending driver kept driving, leaving it up to police to find out who did it.

“If anybody has any knowledge on that, or may have spotted a vehicle that would have damage to the passenger side like it was sideswiped then, give us a call."

Any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact the Weyburn Police Service.
