The Fright Night Spirit Tour is coming back for a second year.

The event, presented by Weyburn Tourism, made its debut last year to rave reviews. Residents, as well as local businesses, decorate for Hallowe’en. Then, residents can take a self-guided tour to see all the spook-tacular decorations.

Entries for the tour are open until October 28th. Those looking to add their home or business to the tour can submit a photo via social media. Then, as Larry Heggs, executive director of Weyburn Tourism, explained, everything is up to the general public.

“From the 22nd to the 28th, we’ll let the public vote on that same Facebook page,” Heggs explained. The votes will be tallied, and prizes will be awarded in the business and residence categories.

For those who want to take the tour, the map of all the locations will be released on October 29th, just ahead of Hallowe’en.
