The nominees are out for the 2024 Women of Distinction Awards, presented by the Weyburn YF Wives Club.  

There are six nominees this year for the YF Wives Community Service Award. They are Becky Grad, Korryn Kubashek, Lindsay Manko-Bauche, Fran Messer, Shannon Seitz, and Jackie Wilson.  

Three women have been nominated for the Access Communications Exceptional Entrepreneur Award. They are Delea Hopfe, Lori McIntosh, and Kyle McGregor.  

The other two awards had one nominee each this year. The Weyburn Credit Union Workplace Excellence Award will be presented to Danielle Millar. The Weyburn Oilwomen’s Young Woman of Distinction Award will be presented to Arliss Sidloski.  

The awards will be presented at a gala on May 3rd, at McKenna Hall. The evening’s guest speaker will be Jordan Szczecinski. She was the recipient of the YF Wives Community Service Award last year and is involved with the Weyburn Oilwomen, the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce, the Weyburn Beavers and minor hockey in Weyburn.
