The May Clay program are returning to Signal Hill Arts Center, thanks to a large boost from the Weyburn Young Fellows. The service club provided a $1000 donation to the Arts Centre to help cover the program, which will see upwards of 400 school children coming through the Arts Center with their classes.

Alice Neufeld is the Arts Director at the Signal Hill Arts Center. She said the program runs from May 8th to 25th. “It’s a program where school children between kindergarten to Grade 9 have an opportunity to participate in making a critter in our pottery studio.

The critters will then be on display in the gallery at the Signal Hill Arts Centre after they are completed.
