With the release of her new single "Country Girls Rock and Roll" as well as the music video to go along with it, it's becoming more and more clear that Lisa Moen is truly a force to be reckoned with. (Music Video and Audio Interview below)

Moen was born into a country music family (even her grandparents were musicians) and has been performing professionally for 16 years now. Her father Myles Myrol was part of the Myrol Brothers Band, who were popular in Saskatchewan during the 90's. Myrol has been playing bass and drums in Moen's band for the past 16 years, and Moen wouldn't have it any other way.

Moen won "Country Music Person of the Year" at the 2018 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards and has won other awards in previous years. She has played opening shows for The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Trooper and just recently she opened for The Eagles!

Moen is a mother of two young children, but still finds the time to tour and play shows regularly. She just recently performed six shows at the 2018 Country Thunder Music Festival held in Craven, Saskatchewan.

Moen grew up in Outlook, Saskatchewan and takes great pride in her home province. She is actively involved with the Saskatoon chapter of the SCMA and took on the role as Social Media Host at the 2017 SCMA Awards and Access TV Host for the 2018 SCMA Awards. She also films all of her music videos in Saskatchewan and loves to work with other Saskatchewan artists as much as she possibly can.

Moen found the time in her busy schedule to chat with Discover Weyburn's Denis Conroy about her new single and much more!
