Wednesday night's storm wreaked havoc on a number of homes, businesses, and farms all across the province. This included the trailers at Minard's Leisure World.

"Some of them flipped over, and when you have that kind of wind, they just skid across the ice," shared Susan Minard. "So, even if they didn't tip over, they could easily skid into another one."

She said the ice had a lot to do with the damage, but the wind was the true culprit.

"When they're on ice, they're light, and of course when the wind hits the side of them, there's a lot of square footage there for wind just to push them over."

Interestingly, until recently, Minard's Leisure World had never needed to file an insurance claim for damages in 16 years of business.

"We've never put an insurance claim in until twice now, last summer when that plow wind went through."

"Never had an insurance claim, until the last six months, we've had two. Like, crazy, you know?" Minard commented.

She added, thankfully, nobody was hurt.
