While tonight's Council meeting will be happening virtually, it's still business as usual.

The first virtual meeting of Weyburn City Council will take place today at 5:00 p.m. Council will be meeting via ZOOM, but the plan is for it to still be broadcast via Access7 and to be uploaded as usual after the meeting.

Council will discuss the purchase of a new fleet vehicle for Refuse Collection, and they'll also hear the monthly Water Treatment Plant Report from the City Engineer Jennifer Wilkinson.

Also on the agenda, Council will be voting to amend the Urban Forestry Bylaw with some clarified title changes, and they'll also be discussing the setting of a fixed Mill Rate for property taxes for 2020. They'll also be voting vote on the deferral of property taxes Weyburn Residents until November.
