Many are excited to embark upon a new season of fishing, and while it has been a few weeks since the Weyburn Wildlife Federation filled the rearing pond at Nickle lake, Troy Kincaid said they're gearing up for the fry.

"We should be getting out fry in the next couple of weeks," he said. "They will stay in there for a few weeks to grow before getting released into Nickle Lake." 

The fry Kincaid referred to are those he personally helped spawn at the recent walleye spawning camp held at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park (read more HERE).
