Smile Cookie Week kicks off today at Tim Horton's in Weyburn and will run all week until Sunday, and the beneficiary is the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation.

This is an easy and delicious way to help ensure the WDHF has what it needs to equip the new Weyburn Hospital, which is currently under construction.

"We have a bit more money to come up with, so we're doing now what we can to raise those funds. This will help us reach our goal," shared Whitney Johnson, the Office Manager of the WDHF.

"One hundred percent of the proceeds from the cookies will be donated back to the foundation."

Throughout the week, Johnson said they will have help with cookie decorating from the WDHF Board of Directors, as well as volunteers from local banks.

Individual smile cookies will be available throughout the week, and you can order boxes of cookies in advance.

"So we will have a link to an order form on our social media channels and our website, so people can print off the form if they want to order. They just need to provide the form to Tim Horton's 48 hours before when they want their cookies. So boxes come in 12, and people can order as many as they want."

Individual cookies are $1.50 each plus tax.
