James Weir People's Choice closes tomorrow at 5 pm, which I've written about before here. But what happens after voting closes? Well, first thing that happens is the names of the artists go up! Finding out who created which pieces is always interesting. Then Weyburn Arts Council members will gather and tabulate votes to determine the winners and honourable mentions. Finally, artists and members of the community will gather to find out who the winners are at the reception on Thursday, February 27th at 7 pm.
It's an exciting time in the Weyburn art scene!
Hurry down to the Allie Griffin Art Gallery before 5 pm on Friday, February 21st to vote on your favourite artwork!
Oh yes, can't forget as well, Weyburn Arts Council will also be sharing info about changes to applications for their Gifted(formerly Four Festive Floors) art sale that happens in the fall.
