There are five games on the SJHL schedule Friday, including the Weyburn Red Wings, who host the Melfort Mustangs. You can find our preview of that game here.

The La Ronge Ice Wolves will be in Flin Flon to face the Bombers. After a rough start to the season, the Ice Wolves will be looking to bounce back, as they travel to one of the toughest environments to play in/ The Bombers, meanwhile, took both of the games in their season-opening home-and-home with the Nipawin Hawks.

The Kindersley Klippers will also be looking to bounce back, after two losses to the Battlefords North Stars. The Estevan Bruins are in town. Estevan looked good in their opening series against Melville, but they will be skating against a stronger team tonight.

The Nipawin Hawks have hopefully put last weekend behind them as they take the trip to Humboldt to face the Broncos tonight. The Hawks dropped both decisions against the Bombers on the weekend. Humboldt, on the other hand, is 3-0 on the season, after they put up big wins, first against the Notre Dame Hounds, then the Yorkton Terriers. The strong offense will prove to be a challenge for Nipawin.

The Melville Millionaires will be looking for their first win of the season when they travel to Wilcox to face the Hounds. Notre Dame is fresh off a tight 2-1 win over the Red Wings Wednesday. The key for the Millionaires will be to stay out of the penalty box, as they gave the Battlefords 12 power play opportunities when they played Wednesday night.
