The Carnduff Red Devils have sole possession of first place in the Big Six Hockey League’s East Division after beating the Redvers Rockets 3-1 Wednesday night in Redvers. The offense from the sticks of Trevor Geiger, Kody Martin, and Landon Senchuk, with a little extra help from Nico Anderson. Geiger would factor in on all three goals, while the others picked up two points each.

The Devils were first on the board, when Geiger scored early in the first period. Anderson and Martin picked up the assists. The Devils would make it a 2-0 game in the third, when Martin scored a goal of his own, with Geiger and Senchuk assisting.

The Rockets pulled within one, when Todd Gervais scored in the third period. Carnduff wasted little time restoring the two goal lead, though, as Senchuk scored just over three minutes later, with Anderson and Geiger getting the helpers.

The Red Devils are now off until Saturday, when they host the Oxbow Huskies. The Huskies are currently fourth in the East Division. The Rockets also take on Oxbow next, hosting the Huskies on Wednesday.

There are no games on the schedule for Thursday, with two games scheduled for Friday. Oxbow is in Wawota, and Carlyle hosts Bienfait.
