Weyburn's Alexandra Clarke was a part of the Women's World Championship game yesterday in Utica, New York.
Clarke was lining the gold medal game, which saw a power play goal at 5:16 into overtime by Danielle Serdachny. This gave Canada a thrilling 6-5 win over the United States in yesterday's gold-medal final.
The U.S. was serving a minor for too many players on the ice and with two seconds left in the penalty Canada scored the golden goal.
Marie-Philip Poulin also scored twice for Canada, which won the gold for a tournament-record 13th time.
