The issue of the personal care home in the Creeks subdivision will be going back before Weyburn City Council.

In a release issued Tuesday morning, the City of Weyburn stated members of Weyburn City Council and administration from the city met with representatives from the Ministry of Social Services, the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, the Weyburn Group Home Society and Terra Developments.

The application will be brought back to Council at the earliest possible meeting while adhering to the City of Weyburn’s bylaws and procedures. This means it could be on the agenda for the meeting scheduled for March 25th, but may not make an appearance until the meeting on April 8th.

The statement concluded the parties attending the meeting left with a feeling the direction going forward will result in the construction of the home in the Creeks.
