A press conference was held at the Weyburn Comprehensive High School discussing their upcoming renovations. The Triple C Center Cooperation, formerly the Weyburn and District Performing Arts Society, announced their name change as well as discussed the history of the project at the Weyburn Comprehensive High School. If all goes as planned, ground could be broken on phase one as early as the summer of 2011. Dave Craigen, chair of the Weyburn Triple C Centre Cooperation, explains how they are fund raising for the project.  " We are going to have a $100,000 lottery working with Prairie Advertising out of Regina, the same people who do the Rider lotteries, Hospital of Regina and those big lotteries. We will also do a seat sale that might go through a local service club to help us do that, but there will be a seat sale for $250. You can help us buy the retractable theater seating we are going to have in the facility, and we are also going to develop a website."
