The 2018 graduates of Weyburn Comprehensive School gathered for their cap and gown ceremony and dance Saturday.

An afternoon ceremony at the Cugnet Centre included heartfelt tributes to the school and teachers from students and replies to students from teachers. Principal Ryan Fowler gave his message to the ROUGHLY 140 graduates. Valedictorian Matthew O'Neill also spoke to his fellow graduates and the gathered crowd of proud parents, family and friends.

The ceremony was capped off by a performance by the Grade 12 graduation choir, led by Colleen Weimer.

The evening portion of the events included a grand march, dinner and dance at the Curling Rink.
