Sources confirm Vinge passed away in a vehicle accident Tuesday morning.

Vinge recently attended the Sunrise Community Futures' Sweet Success event in Weyburn, held back in November.

At that time, general manager of Sunrise Verna O'Neill reminisced about her time spent with Vinge. Below is an excerpt from a story by Discover Weyburn:

O'Neill said Community Futures has connected with some of these women before, whether it was through these women attending workshops or talking with them about their small business. She specifically remembers working with Vinge, who owns the Happy Nun Cafe in Forget.

"We've been really tremendously pleased to see that she's grown the business and really put her own spin on an already successful business and is growing, doing great things out there," said O'Neill.
