Members of the Weyburn Police Service’s Combined Traffic Safety Section can often be found on the highways of southeast Saskatchewan, helping to enforce traffic laws.

This weekend, they found themselves a little out of their element, as they were working with Conservation Officers on the water, helping with boating enforcement.

Over the course of the weekend, they handled a number of situations involving alcohol. There were six alcohol-related offences cited, along with a number of warnings handed out.

There were also two criminal code charges for impaired boating.
