The community has been abuzz with the excitement over The Family Place's expansive new location, and now there's even more good news to share! Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, kids now have additional spaces to explore and unleash their energy. Assistant Director Judy Lumb shares the exciting details.
“We have finished our basement on the new side of our building, so now we have another ginormous playroom for kids to come and play in. We also have our Snoezelen Room all set up now and ready to go. It has a ball pit that lights up and it has some climbing stuff in there as well.”
The fresh playroom presents an ideal haven for young adventurers, boasting a climbing structure equipped with monkey bars, a balance beam, a swinging rope, and a pint-sized rock-climbing wall. Plus, there's an extra sensory corner for added exploration and fun.
Also, April is brimming with excitement thanks to many themed days. From costume extravaganzas and charming tea gatherings to lively dance parties and delicious sundae-making sessions, there's an abundance of delights awaiting the kids.
Lumb also shared that the new space offers a Meeting Room for small groups to host meetings or events.
