The lasting effects of Saskatchewan's booming economy are starting to show.

In the latest report from Statistics Canada, payroll earnings in Saskatchewan jumped by 6.9 percent in the past year, the biggest increase of any province in Canada.

The average Saskatchewan worker now earns about 740 dollars a week.
