At around 4:25 a.m. Thursday, fire crews responded to reports of a house fire just north of the Village of Creelman.

When crews arrived, they worked to contain the fire. All residents were able to make it out safely.

It is being reported that damage was extensive to the entry and the kitchen area. As well, smoke and high heat destroyed much of the rest of the house.

Crews were still on the scene around 8 a.m., containing hot spots and beginning the investigation.
