Although Premier Lorne Calvert has yet to call the next election, the Saskatchewan Party is citing the NDP's recent negative ads and the resignation of several of the party's MLA's as indicators of a fall campaign.

While addressing reporters in Saskatoon earlier this week, Premier Lorne Calvert indicated support for the NDP's recent ads which presented the Saskatchewan Party as a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Opposition Party MLA for Cannington-Manor, Dan D'Autremont (Doo-Truh-Mont), says the campaign shows all signs of an impending fall election:

Premier Calvert says he's weighing a number of factors before calling the next election, including harvest progress and the situation with the minority government in Ottawa.
