The Saskatchewan government is expected to give an update on COVID-19 measures Tuesday morning.

Premier Scott Moe announced on social media Monday evening that he would be joined by Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab for the announcement at 11 a.m.

Moe has said the province would be shifting away from COVID-19 measures in the near future, though he did not give a specific timeline.

Opposition NDP leader Ryan Meili called out the province Monday night for putting an end to daily COVID-19 updates.

Provincial measures include masking in public indoor places, a requirement to self-isolate following a positive test, and proof of vaccination or a negative test to enter a number of establishments.

Existing measures are set to expire at the end of the month.
