Cenovus Donation To Care-A-Van Society


The Weyburn Care-A-Van Society has fulfilled a perceived need in the city by purchasing a wheel chair accessible van.--

This type of vehicle is available to be rented by the hour or the day and doesn't require a special license to drive it.

Linda Banerjee Society member and Quota Club member explains

"there has been a need for a van, because we have the larger bus to transport a number of clients that use it regularly and they are in wheel chairs, but there was a need for a smaller vehicle that could handle wheel chairs, a van which can be driven by anyone."

The van can hold up to two wheel chairs and can be found at the Weyburn Special Care Home, just phone to book.
