The risk of thunderstorms yesterday evening did not deter the WEYBURN SILVER SEALS from their first practise in the outdoor pool.

Talking with one of the members of the Silver Seals, they quite enjoy the outdoor pool:

Reason #1:  If it's cold outside, it's warm in the pool, AND,

Reason #2:  if it's hot outside, it's cool in the pool. (Physics?)

Our local team, the Weyburn Silver Seals, are preparing for their first (South) swim meet of the season, June 23, in Regina.

The Weyburn Swim Meet is scheduled for July 14.  Everyone will be welcome to come and cheer on the local competitors, it is sure to be a full day, with a lot of exciting races and relays.
