The Summer Fun Crew was out at Creelman this previous weekend

We had the opportunity to go check out Creelman’s 113th annual fair on Saturday, July 15th. We started out the day by joining the queue for the parade that took place shortly after the pancake breakfast. It was great to see an amazing turnout for the parade, with families and their children coming from around the area of Creelman to see what the parade had to offer!

After the parade, the events at the fairgrounds kicked off for the day. First up was the dog show, which had a handful of participants and many spectators.

As the day went on, things got a little busier and events like slow pitch and beach volleyball started taking off as well. When more of the events got going, the grounds were packed full of people from the concession booths, to the trade show that took part in the rink. You can check out some other pcitures of the events we got at the bottom of this page!

The highlight for the event for us and for many other people it seemed, was the pig scramble that began in the early afternoon. The stands were packed and lots of the people watching even got a chance to participate as there was a pig scramble for a variety of different age groups! The pig scramble was amazing, and everyone had a great time watching!

The Creelman Fair had a great turnout this year, and if you’ve never had a chance to stop out during the fair, I would highly recommend checking out the 114th annual fair if it turns out like it did this year.

We would also like to thank our sponsors at The Weyburn Credit Union, Lost Child Towing, Young’s Equipment and McDonald’s for giving us the opportunity to get out to these great events in Saskatchewan.
