What a week for the city of Weyburn!

It kicked off with International Pie Day on Tuesday. The Harvest Pie Company came together for a pie in the face fundraiser! The event raised over $700 and saw several dignitaries creamed in the face. You can read more on that here.

On Wednesday we caught up with Cora-Lynn Sexton at the Weyburn Public Library to get an update on how the community came together following the break-in that happened in Decemeber. That story is available here.

Thursday night up at Signal Hill Arts Centre second floor gallery was the reception for Yellowgrass photographer Art Beck.

Curator Regan Lanning gave us a tour earlier this week.

And of course on Friday, everyone was talking about the HUGE announcement from Landmark Cinemas. After months of speculation, they announced they would not be re-opening the Soo Theatre in Weyburn. We'll continue bringing you reaction on that over the next week.

Also this week, Weyburn's Tenille Arts announced that she is going to be making an appearance on, wait for it, ABC's THE BACHELOR!

Saturday, Colin Mochrie and Deb McGrath are in town with the Weyburn Concert Series!
