Willy Porter is a contemporary American rock musician and singer-songwriter from Mequon, Wisconsin, United States.

Porter released Leaving Tomah Home in 1988 on cassette, however his professional career as a musician really took off in 1990 with his album The Trees Have Soul.

After more than 30 years of recording and touring full-time, Porter has released 11 studio albums, one cassette and one Christmas album.

In 2005 Porter started his own recording company Weasel Records and has released 6 albums under his own label, with his latest being Bonfire to Ash.

Porter has travelled millions of miles across America, Canada, the UK, and Europe, touring solo, as well as in support of artists like Tori Amos, Paul Simon, Rickie Lee  Jones, Jethro Tull, Sting, Jeff Beck and The Cranberries.

And in just over two weeks Porter will be rolling into Weyburn on the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train to help raise funds and food for our local Salvation Army!!!

The train is expected to arrive in Weyburn at 5:45 PM on Sunday, December 16, with the show taking place from 6 PM till 6:30 PM. And Porter will be joined on stage by none other than Canadian rock legends The Trews!
