Weyburn Public Library had their Cookies, Carols, and Cards event on December 13th. The evening started with the Cards portion of the program with Rheanelle Callfas helping families and individuals create a variety of handmade holiday themed cards.
Then people were invited downstairs to sing and eat. The deliciously festive smell of apples and cinnamon enhanced the holiday feeling as patrons made their way to the lower level of the library. Cookies, treats, apple cider, and iced tea were served. The carols began with Children's Programmer Cora-Lynn Sexton singing and playing piano, then Diane Greening joined in to accompany for a couple more songs. Next, Leslie Richards blew everyone away with her powerful voice while Cora-Lynn accompanied. Jessica Payette played guitar and serenaded everyone with her smooth yet husky tones. Finally, everyone joined in for some fun carols all together!
