Crocus 80 is getting ready for their annual youth theatre program, which runs through the summer. This is the 5th year youth from the ages of 5 to 18 have graced the stage at the Tommy Douglas Centre.

Registration is being done this year through a casting call, which will be held May 30th and 31st. Parents must attend as well in order for kids to be enrolled in the program.

During the months of June and July, and into the first week of August, the youth work on bringing a play from the page to the stage, and are involved in all aspects from acting to set design and building.

This year, the works performed will be inspired by Robert Munsch, to mark Canada 150 celebrations. The final performances will be held during the Wheat Festival.
