Weyburn is facing winter extremes again this week.

An extreme cold warning was in effect for much of southern Saskatchewan this morning with temperatures hovering around -30 degrees Celsius and a windchill of -40. Today didn't get quite as cold as yesterday, however.

"Weyburn was the coldest location in all of Saskatchewan yesterday, for the stations we have access to anyways, minus 30.9 degrees was the temperature in the day," said meteorologist for Environment Canada Dan Kulach.

Kulach said the below normal temperatures present over the past few weeks are sticking around. The full five-day forecast can be found HERE.
