Anyone who has enjoyed visiting the Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park throughout the summer and is looking for a way to give back, here's your chance. Even if you just love manual labour, your volunteer services may be put to good use this Saturday morning.

"Our 2019 season has come to an end," said Vince Sheldon, Media Director with WTAP. "We now just need to do a quick cleanup of the park. We want to do a final raking of the pens, and get everything put away so nothing gets damaged during our wonderful Canadian winters, and get the park set up so that when spring comes, we can open even sooner."

"We are doing final cleanup at the park on October 5th from 9 am till noon, so if you are free anytime during that, even if you're only free 10 minutes, five minutes, two minutes, to the whole morning, whatever you can do, come on down and help us get it all cleaned up and packed away," he explained. "All volunteer help is needed."

He said anyone who would like to help can show up anytime on Saturday morning. The Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park is located next to the Tatagwa View longterm care facility, in northwest Weyburn, just off of Highway 13.
