Video surveillance cameras assisted the Weyburn Police Service on Tuesday when they were called to investigate a break and enter at the 306 Creamery.

"During the course of the investigation, the cameras showed a suspect," said Chief of Police, Marlow Pritchard. "Through that investigation, we were able to later locate a 22-year-old male, who was taken into custody and who is currently being remanded."

Chief Pritchard said the investigation is still ongoing.

"We haven't recovered all of the property yet," he said. "We're still working on the file, but we'll see where it goes."

The suspect was scheduled to appear before a judge today.
