It's their chance to give back to the community and the Weyburn Kin Club managed to do just that for many residents who took part in the annual Twinkle Tour on Thursday night.

President of the Weyburn Kin Club Adrian Prybylski said they had two buses full this year along with several cars following behind. He attributed the high turn-out to the milder weather.

"Thankfully, Stagecoach donates the buses, they've been helpful every year and same thing with the Wheatland Centre. They let us toast there. Everything else like the juice, the dainties and the entertainment is provided by the Weyburn Kin Club," said Prybylski.

A mixer was held at the Wheatland Senior Centre afterwards, complete with hot cocoa, cookies and carols with local singer Lyndsay Bell. Prybylski said next year they may provide the Twinkle Tour route map on their Facebook page for anyone who wishes to take the tour on their own time or if they stop to take a photo and lose the tour.

Prybylski said although the Twinkle Tour is a gift from the Kin Club to the community, anyone wishing to donate to the organization can do so on their Facebook page. They are accepting donations to help care for the local off-leash dog park.
