Considered the most depressing day of the year, Blue Monday serves to highlight a time of year when, after the buzz of the holidays, people return to their normal life in the bitter cold.

Some have more trouble than others identifying their emotions, however. Therefore, Envision Counselling and Support Centre is offering a workshop called 'Minding your Emotions'.

"It's going to be an afternoon of discussing our different feelings and how we can better understand them, why we feel the way we do, how do we control our reactions to things, and how do we identify our different feelings," explained Angela Milleker of Envision.

Registration is required and there is no cost to attend. The January 26 workshop is for those 18 and older.
