Carlyle RCMP continue their search for Ruby Barnes, a 64-year-old Carlyle woman who has been missing for nearly three weeks.

"There are always tips that are coming into the detachment and we are investigating all those tips but as of now we have nothing new to report," shared Cpl James Barnett with the Carlyle RCMP, "We get tips on a daily basis that we follow up with."

Barnes was last seen in downtown Carlyle on June 18 at 9:30 a.m. She was reported missing 12 hours later. Barnes was driving a 2013 white Ford Escape, which police have yet to locate.

"And that's a concern to us that her vehicle hasn't been located," shared Barnett.

RCMP are in constant communication with the family of Barnes, according to Barnett, and they have asked for privacy during this difficult time.

"For me, sometimes it wakes you up at night, wondering what you can and can't do to bring her home safely to her family. Obviously, everyone is working hard here to do everything they can, follow every tip we have, and hopefully, this comes out with a good result."

Anyone with any information on Barnes is urged to call the Carlyle RCMP at 306-453-6707 or their local police service as soon as possible.
