“All circuits are busy. Please hang up and try your call again later.”

This is the message many across Saskatchewan are hearing this morning when trying to make a long distance phone call or a call a toll-free phone number.

Thankfully, for emergency calls, the 911 system is still operational. The Weyburn Police Service is reporting they aren't experiencing any issues with incoming local calls at this time to their main office phone line at 306-848-3250.

Saskatchewan RCMP have advised their main line in the province isn't operating at this time. They ask if you need police assistance for a non-emergency situation to call your local detachment.

Sasktel is aware of the issue and is working to get the issue resolved. The cause of the outage is not known at this time.
