At approximately 9:45 a.m. today, Ponteix RCMP responded to a call of a robbery at a bank in the community of Glentworth, Saskatchewan. Glentworth's population hovers around 350.
Initial investigation has revealed a man wearing a mask and carrying a firearm entered the institution and demanded money. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash heading south down Main St. No one was injured in the incident or able to identify the robber.
The male is described as being 5 feet and 8 or 9 inches in height, stocky build, unshaven, late 40s or early 50s, and wearing a black toque and a camouflage-style jacket
As of 1 p.m. today, Ponteix RCMP were still on scene.
