The Weyburn Parks Board is celebrating Parks Day this June and taking the opportunity to honour the Rotary Club for their contributions to Tatagwa Parkway over the years.

"The Rotary Club has been one of the founding members of Tatagwa Parkway and we're going to honour them this year with a bench that is going to go near the Dog Park so people can sit and watch their dogs," says Chair of the Parks Board Nancy Styles. "Rotary has been very generous each year giving to the Parkway and helping to expand it and make it better."

Parks Day will be taking place on June 10. The event will take place along the Redcoat Trail, near the Exhibition Grounds.

Parks Day will feature tons of activities for everyone who comes out, especially children. There will be a bike parade with prizes, kite flying, and a barbecue.
