A new addition to the Weyburn Therapeutic Animal Park thanks to Prairie Sky Co-op and Bonanza 2019, the national junior Hereford show which took place in Weyburn last month. A new play structure, built by Andrew Felskie from Indian Head is now in place at the animal park, put in place by Jeremy and Arden Charlton.

“As we’ve been doing a bunch of renovations at the park it came at a perfect time for us to have a new swing set,” said Vince Sheldon, the media director for WTAPark. “It’s very well built; it’s going to last for many, many years.”

“Prairie Sky Co-op prides itself on being a community builder and giving back to the communities it serves in,” added Andrea Bell, Member Relations Manager for Prairie Sky Co-op. “ Having a tangible structure that could be enjoyed at any time by visitors and residents sounded like the perfect project for us to support.”

The structure was originally built for children attending Bonanza 2019 to use. While the committee originally looked for a structure to rent, they realized it wouldn’t be feasible and decided on a more permanent structure.
