After being on the run for three days, the prime suspect in a murder investigation has been arrested.

Tyrel Munroe, 19, was taken into custody by Regina police Thursday night without incident.  He was arrested in a Regina home and will be appearing in court today in the Queen City. He's expected to be held in custody and then transferred to Moose Jaw for court next week.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for Munroe Wednesday after police started investigating a stabbing death in Moose Jaw Tuesday morning. The victim was a young man. Twenty-one-year-old Bailey Anderson was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital in Moose Jaw after police received a report of an injured male in the city's northeast at 1:20 a.m.

On Wednesday night, Kristen Desjarlais, a person of interest connected to the investigation, turned herself in to police and was arrested on outstanding warrants. Her connection to the death has not been released, however investigators said she is not expected to be charged in relation to the murder case.
