A missing 12-year-old Weyburn girl has been found safe and sound.

Saturday afternoon police were made aware that the 12-year-old girl was last seen in the Riverwood area. Media were requested via email to assist in locating the girl just after 3 p.m.

She was located on a farm just east of the city just after 9 p.m.

Weyburn Police thank everyone who participated in the search efforts.
