The province didn’t do as well this month for the sale of Crown oil and natural gas rights, as it did in June. In total, there was just over $6.5 million in revenue raised.
Here in the southeast, there was $2.6 million spent, a drop from nearly $11.5 million from June's sale.
The top price paid for a single lease was $568,000. The amount was paid by Windfall Resources for a 161-acre parcel 15 km North of Midale.
The largest purchase was for 11 lease parcels by Beacon Land Services.
They spent $1.4 million.
There were 21 leases in the southeast sold by the province in total.
