The Weyburn Public Library has reopened its doors today. But, according to Branch Manager Matthew Rankin, there's no browsing, and only two people are allowed in at a time.

"We're asking that people socially distance even if we have a line up at the door, at the entry way," he said. "We have tape set up on the ground, that goes from our main entrance to the side entrance."

He said patrons will enter at the front entrance and then exit through the side doors.

"We're not providing progrmaming or services at this time, so there will be no printing, no photocopying, no programs, and you can use two public computers," Rankin explained.

While there's no browsing, you can still place holds through the Library's website or through the SILS app on your phone.

"You are now able to place holds, stuff is coming through from the rest of the province. Not everything is opened up yet, so some holds you may not be able to get the items even though they show up in the catalogue But we're doing our best to ensure that you get the items you need," he noted.

For those who still prefer to do curbside pickup, items will be placed on the curb once a call is placed, and they're no longer being scheduled for a certain time.
