Last month the Kisbey Volunteer Fire Department received a very large donation, a fire truck.

"Our chief got a phone call from Goliath saying that they are going to be donating a fire truck to us," says Ryan David, Kisbey's Deputy Fire Chief. "We were a little flabbergasted, we had no idea this was even coming, we had given out donation letters out not too long before that, just to various companies and then we got the phone call saying they had a fire truck for us."

The Kisbey Volunteer Fire Department was looking for donations so they can update their gear and equipment as many of those items wear out and need constant replacing.

The truck is a newer model that is more durable and simpler to operate.

"It's donations like, from this generous company that keeps these small fire departments going, when we completely rely on donations to keep up our fire equipment it's a huge help," says David.

The firefighters are still getting used to the truck and working on moving all their gear and equipment to the new one.
