Saskatchewan's First Nations are calling for a potash summit with the provincial government over the proposed Jansen Lake mine project.

Chief Glen Pratt of the George Gordon First Nation says they're not being consulted on the mine's development.

But Ken Cheveldayoff, minister of First Nations and Metis Relations, says consultation between the Saskatchewan government and First Nations have already taken place.

Cheveldayoff says they even agreed to a potash summit during a meeting between chiefs and the cabinet back in June. He expects it will be held this fall.
