Weyburn's fire truck will be parked at the Canadian Tire from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m. today for a very good cause. 'Stuff a Fire Truck' is a project that sees the Weyburn Fire Department and Canadian Tire teaming up to ensure all children have a happy holiday season.

"There will be some firefighters at Canadian Tire with our rescue truck and we are hoping people will come by and donate a toy or a gift, from Canadian Tire, and put it into the fire truck and see if we can fill up the back of it," says Lisa Robertson, Weyburn Firefighter.

Children and adults can climb inside the firetruck to place their gifts with the hope that the firetruck is bursting with items.

"They'll all be donated to the Weyburn Family Place so we'll take them over there and the Family Place will disperse the gifts out," says Robertson. "Every child should have some gift to open up at Christmas time so this a good way that Canadian Tire can help out and firefighters always love to help out any way we can."

The fire truck and firefighters will be available for photos. Families can have fun while donating to a good cause.
